Responsibilities
  • Lead or support Project Controls activities for discrete scope or programmes.
  • Coordinate with supply chain to ensure accurate Project Controls information.
  • Interface with Programme Controls Managers to deliver integrated control management information.
  • Support progress reporting: schedule updates, forecast to complete, variance analysis, and improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure timely and high‑quality month‑end performance reports.
  • Promote the project as an exemplar of Project Controls through knowledge sharing and presentations.
  • Manage senior stakeholder relationships within the controlled scope.
Essential (Qualifications)
  • Programme Controls Manager experience on large, complex construction projects.
  • Strong stakeholder relationship building at all levels.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Facilitation experience for multi‑stakeholder workshops to identify and mitigate issues.
  • Proven track record of implementing procedures, processes, and systems on large and complex infrastructure projects.
  • Deliverable‑focused, problem‑solving mindset that meets challenges effectively.
Desirable
  • Lean Six Sigma or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in assurance activities within Project Controls.
  • Active membership of AACE, PMI, APM or similar associations with certifications.
  • Understanding of NEC and FIDIC contract types.
  • Chartered or equivalent professional status.
  • Experience across cost control, estimating, scheduling, change and risk management.
  • Background in the nuclear sector.
Requirements and Location
  • Full right to work in the UK.
  • Willingness to work from home and in London or Suffolk.
