Qualifications

• CMM programming experience, particularly with PC-DMIS.
• Experience in a subcontract machining environment.
• Proficient in using inspection measurement equipment like micrometers and gauges.

Responsibilities

• Conduct first off and final inspections in a machining environment.
• Operate and program CMM using PC-DMIS.
• Produce reports including FAIRs, SPC, and NCR.

Skills

CMM programming experience - PC-DMIS

Knowledge of inspection measurement equipment including a CMM

Overview

CMM Programmer / Quality Inspector (PC-DMIS) — £38,000 - £42,000 Per Annum. Overtime and benefits. Birmingham

The Company

A well established manufacturer of high quality precision machined components are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer to join their team. The company provide precision parts to a wide range of industries including aerospace and automotive in their modern and fast paced machining facility.

The Role

Quality inspector / CMM Programmer

As a successful quality inspector / CMM Programmer you will be required to inspect precision engineered components.

Responsibilities

• First off inspection and final inspection in a subcontract machining environment
• Operating/ Programming CMM - PC-DMIS
• Using inspection measurement equipment such as micrometers, verniers, gauges
• Producing FAIRs, SPC, 5Ys, NCR and KPI reporting
• Meeting AS9100 and ISO 9001 requirements

Requirements

• CMM programming experience - PC-DMIS
• Experience using inspection measurement equipment
• Knowledge of inspection measurement equipment including a CMM
• Good understanding of AS9100 and ISO 9001 requirements
• Ability to produce FAIRs, SPC, 5Ys, NCR and KPI reporting
• Subcontract machining environment experience

Hours of Work

Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm
Friday 8:00am - 12:30pm

Salary

£38,000 - £42,000 Per Annum. Lots of overtime available at time and a half
