Job summary

Syntech Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer near Stoke-on-Trent. The role focuses on inspecting high-precision CNC components and programming CMMs from CAD models to ensure tight-tolerance quality.

You will work with PC-DMIS, interpret drawings and GD&T, and collaborate with CNC machinists and engineering teams. The role offers regular overtime, a pension, and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Proven experience inspecting precision CNC machined components.
• Ability to independently programme CMMs from CAD models.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment and interpreting inspection reports.

Responsibilities

• Inspect high-precision CNC machined components.
• Programme and operate CMMs from CAD models.
• Use PC-DMIS for dimensional inspection and produce inspection reports (FAIRs).
• Identify non-conformances and support corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and support continuous improvement.
