Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group Limited is seeking a skilled CMM Programmer for a precision engineering environment near Ilkeston. You will lead decisions on how to measure and inspect machined components and support offline programming.

Experience with CMM inspection, offline programming, and MCOSMOS software is desirable but not essential; we are open to flexible software adoption and offer a 40-hour week with early Friday finish and solid holiday and pension benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in offline programming and CMM programming.
• Strong understanding of measurement and inspection processes for machined/fabricated components.

Responsibilities

• Lead decisions on best methods to measure and inspect parts.
• Program offline CMM routines and be the onsite technical lead for CMM inspection.

The basics:

Job Title: CMM Programmer

Environment: Manufacturing

Location: near Ilkeston

Pay: up to £55,000

Hours: Monday to Thursday (7.30am-4.30pm) and Fridays (7.30am-2.00pm)

Contracted hours: 40 per week

Overview

Working within a first class precision engineering manufacturing environment we now require a CMM Programmer to join the business.

As the CMM Programmer you will lead the decisions on the best way to measure and inspect the machined and fabricated components that the company manufacture. Regarding the programming the company are open to different software to which you will program offline. You will be the lead technical person onsite for all things associated with to CMM inspection and programming.

The ideal candidate / CMM Programmer may have some of the following experiences, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

• Previous experience offline programming
• Experienced mcosmos software beneficial - however flexible

Ripley, Nottingham, Chesterfield, Derby, Ilkeston, Heanor, Alfreton and surrounding areas.
