Job summary

Sky UK Limited is seeking an experienced Industrial Designer to help shape the look and feel of consumer electronics and high-volume devices. You’ll influence CMF, aesthetics and manufacturability from concept through production, working with engineering, UX and packaging teams to deliver cohesive customer experiences.

The role requires a strong portfolio and a degree in Industrial Design, plus hands-on experience in 3D CAD, visualization and manufacturing constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or equivalent.
• Strong portfolio showing design fundamentals, color/material/finish.
• Hands-on product development from concept to production in a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong visual communication: sketching, rendering, model-making and presentations.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD and visualization tools; knowledge of manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Support the industrial design of world-class products from concept through to production.
• Generate innovative design concepts balancing user needs, business goals and technical requirements.
• Explore color, material and finish opportunities while maintaining CMF library.
• Create visualisations, prototypes and design documentation to communicate ideas.
• Collaborate with engineering, UX, packaging and product teams to deliver cohesive experiences.
• Participate in design reviews to raise quality and consistency of the portfolio.
• Support production sample reviews and supplier interactions to maintain design intent.
