Position Overview

Pay range: $15.00 - $23.55 / hour

Shift: full-time AM

Schedule: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Job Description

To coordinate patient care in the MRI department. To facilitate proper dressing and screening; discusses procedures; answers patient questions; completes pre-appointment screening history; obtains appropriate ordering diagnoses and pre-certification requirements.

High School diploma or GED required. Experience working in a healthcare facility preferred. Currently certified as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) required. If certified by another accrediting agency AAMA or NHA certification must be obtained within six (6) months of employment. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required or must be obtained within thirty (30) days of employment. Certification or degree in Radiology preferred.
