Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions in London is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure. You will drive infrastructure as code with Terraform, manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS/AKS), and build CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, while ensuring reliability, security, and observability.

This role offers hands-on engineering, collaboration with platform teams, and opportunities to improve throughput and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS and Azure).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code in production using Terraform.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues in distributed systems.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Automation scripting in Go, Python, or Bash.
• Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain infrastructure as code for use across cloud environments.
• Manage and operate Kubernetes clusters (EKS/AKS).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test and deployment workflows.
• Own the reliability, security and cost-efficiency of cloud infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues and fix root causes of issues at the source.
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting solutions to ensure system observability.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to improve platform documentation, standards and adoption.
