Job summary

British Airways is seeking a Cyber Product Owner - Cloud to lead secure-by-design cloud delivery across BA environments. You will own the product vision for cloud security and partner with the Enterprise Cloud Platform and Cyber Delivery Assurance teams to embed security into every stage of delivery.

You will translate security requirements into roadmaps, governance patterns, and reusable architectures, while communicating risks and trade-offs to both technical and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in product ownership or management in cyber security or cloud services.
• Experience securing and managing cloud environments and reviewing cloud designs, architectures and standards.
• Strong awareness of cloud security trends and up-to-date guidance.
• Hands‑on experience embedding cyber security in agile delivery.
• Strong analytical and structured thinking with attention to detail when evaluating options.
• Clear and persuasive communicator able to translate complex cloud security concepts for all stakeholders.
• Able to balance competing priorities and guide teams toward strategic security outcomes.
• Professional certifications in cloud or security (Desirable).

Responsibilities

• Define and own the product vision for cloud security, aligning with BA's cyber strategy and goals.
• Translate security objectives into cloud roadmaps, architectures and reusable patterns.
• Prioritise security requirements for AWS and other cloud platforms.
• Embed security into agile delivery with testing approaches and acceptance criteria.
• Act as the voice of cloud security across delivery teams and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with ECP to embed security into governance, design and delivery.
• Provide product ownership for cloud security features for Cyber Delivery Assurance.
• Drive adoption of security tooling, standards and patterns across BA.
• Continuously assess cloud security, identify gaps and prioritise remediation in the backlog.
