Miryco Consultants is working with a leading global asset manager to add a Cloud Security Engineer to their growing Manchester office. You will help shape the future of cybersecurity in a fast-paced, global environment.

Responsibilities
  • Design and enhance modern cloud-based cybersecurity solutions.
  • Implement robust authentication mechanisms (e.g., MFA, passkeys).
  • Integrate with leading identity providers such as Auth0, Transmit Security, and Ping Identity.
  • Develop advanced systems to detect and prevent account takeover (ATO) attempts.
  • Optimize the performance, scalability, and resilience of cloud services.
  • Champion continuous improvement in technical standards, tools, and development processes.
Experience
  • Strong expertise in cloud computing and services (AWS experience preferred).
  • Proficient in TypeScript and REST API development (NestJS experience preferred).
  • In-depth understanding of cloud security principles, including IAM, networking, and encryption.
  • Experienced in designing and implementing web services and microservices-based architectures.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiar with agile development methodologies; Scrum experience is a plus.
