Job summary

Lacuna Talent is partnering with a global retail organisation to hire a Cloud Security Engineer for a 6-12 month hybrid role in London or Manchester. The role blends high-level security strategy with hands-on delivery, focusing on strengthening cloud security posture and security reviews.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across teams to drive improvements and secure CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience securing Azure and GCP platforms.
• Understanding of architecture reviews and secure design.
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Automation experience with Python and security pipelines.

Job description

Salary: £70,000 - 110,000 per year

Requirements:

• Knowledge of securing Azure and GCP platforms, preferred
• Good understanding of reviewing architecture and identifying what looks good
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, specifically Terraform
• Knowledge of automation, specifically Python
• Experience working in a DevSecOps environment and standard DevSecOps principles
• Experience securing CI/CD pipelinesUnderstanding of best practice frameworks such as CIS and NIST
• Experience working with stakeholders

• Work closely with stakeholders
• Review architecture and contribute to cloud security design decisions
