Job summary

MYO Talent is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to strengthen security across a modern multi-cloud environment, with a focus on Microsoft Azure. You will implement robust identity, endpoint and network controls, and drive a Zero Trust strategy in collaboration with infrastructure, networking and security teams.

The role is hybrid, with travel to Warwickshire a couple of times per month, and offers a salary in the range of £60,000 to £75,000 plus excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience securing Cloud environments, especially Azure.
• Experience with CNAPP and CSPM tooling.
• Familiar with Defender for Cloud and Cortex XDR.
• Knowledge of Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, and privileged access management.
• Experience with endpoint security, EDR, MDM and Intune.
• Understanding of Zero Trust, cloud vulnerabilities, and secure configurations.
• Scripting/automation in Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
• Awareness of ISO27001 and NCSC CAF frameworks.

Cloud Security Engineer

£60,000 - £75,000 + Excellent Benefits Hybrid Working

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to play a key role in protecting and strengthening security across a modern, multi-cloud environment.

You’ll be responsible for securing Microsoft Azure, improving cloud security posture and implementing robust identity, endpoint and network security controls. Working closely with infrastructure, networking and security teams, you’ll drive a Zero Trust approach, identify vulnerabilities and continuously improve security through automation and effective threat monitoring.

Key Experience Required:

• Strong hands‑on experience in Cloud Security, particularly Microsoft Azure (GCP also beneficial).
• Experience with CNAPP and CSPM security tooling.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud and/or Palo Alto Cortex XDR.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA and privileged access management.
• Experience with endpoint security, EDR, MDM and Microsoft Intune.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust principles, cloud vulnerabilities and security configuration.
• Scripting and automation experience using Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
