Job summary

Searchability NS&D in Cheltenham is seeking a Cloud Native Software Developer with active eDV clearance to join our security-focused engineering teams. You will design, develop and deploy secure cloud-native applications for government customers, contributing across the full software lifecycle.

You will work in Agile teams using AWS and/or Azure, Kubernetes, Docker and IaC tools, delivering high-quality software with operational impact.

Qualifications

• Active eDV Clearance required.
• Strong commercial software engineering experience.
• Experience building cloud-native applications on AWS and/or Azure.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Python, Go or similar languages.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker and containerised microservices.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation or similar).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
• Understanding of distributed systems and modern software architecture.
• Passion for delivering secure, high-quality software within Agile teams.

WHAT WILL THE CLOUD NATIVE SOFTWARE DEVELOPER BE DOING?

You’ll be designing, developing and deploying secure cloud-native applications that solve complex real-world problems for highly classified government customers.
