Job summary

A leading tech company in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced DevOps Lead. In this hands-on leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing DevOps initiatives, designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and managing cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience, a strong technical background, and excellent communication skills. This position offers a great opportunity to work in a high-performing technology team on a contract basis.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years' overall experience in DevOps or related roles.
• Strong experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven expertise with Jenkins, Git, and Azure DevOps.
• Experience with containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP is essential.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible for Infrastructure as Code.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and Azure DevOps.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Architect, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Implement monitoring and observability solutions using Prometheus and Grafana.
• Lead DevOps initiatives collaboratively with engineering and delivery teams.
