AWS EMEA SARL (UK Branch) is seeking a Business Development Manager for Cloud Intelligence across EMEA. You will equip AWS sellers with cloud business insights and sales strategies to better inform customers selecting a Cloud Platform Service Provider.

You will collaborate with AWS Sales, Marketing, BD and product teams to win competitive engagements. The ideal candidate has led large cloud sales opportunities, understands cloud best practices, and can translate business requirements into cloud

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Experience in developing, negotiating and executing business agreements.
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.

As a Business Development Manager focused on Cloud Intelligence within Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will provide sellers with insights on cloud business and sales strategies, so they can better inform our customers when choosing a Cloud Platform Service Provider. You will serve as the compete liaison to the AWS sales teams across EMEA, working to identify and communicate cloud trends, tactics, and responses unique to a specific industry. You will closely partner with AWS Sales, Marketing, BD and product teams to help win competitive sales engagements.

You will use your experience selling public cloud to enterprise customers and can translate business requirements and values to cloud outcomes, being able to drive digital transformation at the executive level, and coach sales teams. Working closely with our Cloud Solution Architects, you will be able to articulate the value proposition of cloud workloads. A successful candidate will have led large and complex public cloud sales opportunities, be familiar with cloud best practices, and have world class business acumen.

Key job responsibilities
  • Develop scalable competitive strategies to enable winning key strategic deals.
  • Support, coach, and develop large deal closing capability.
  • Be the go-to resource for an AWS field sales segment and sales leadership for AWS differentiation.
  • Leverage excellent communication skills to articulate the business value of AWS value propositions, working backwards from our customers strategic objectives.
  • Demonstrate the ability to earn trust with and influence C-level executives in customer organizations and within AWS.
  • Lead strategic, in-person workshops (this position will require travel).
  • Develop and share cloud adoption trends and blockers across the cloud ecosystem.
  • Enable and upskill field teams through development of field-friendly content, and delivery of trainings.
  • Track signals and identify opportunities, in order to provide Cloud Intelligence with insight to improve offerings.
  • Influence internal stakeholders on market realities, with the objective to further differentiate AWS’s value.
