Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in Cloud Foundational Services to enhance, build, and deliver secure, scalable technology products. You will lead delivery across multiple domains, stay hands-on, and help define engineering standards to support firm objectives.

Qualifications

Deliver system design, application development, testing, and operational stability for multi-tenant platforms.
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language.
Automation and continuous delivery with tangible improvements.
Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Knowledge of agile methodologies, resiliency, infrastructure cost management, and least-privilege security.
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and experience in a large-scale multi-cloud environment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and troubleshoot complex, large-scale cloud-native systems using creative approaches to overcome technical challenges
Lead by example in delivering secure, high-quality production code
Review and debug code written by others, and share knowledge to support and develop junior talent
Identify recurring issues and drive elimination or automation of remediation to improve operational stability
Lead evaluation sessions to assess architectural designs, technical credentials, and fit within existing systems and information architecture
Drive adoption of modern software engineering practices and leading-edge technologies
Contribute to a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
