The Opportunity – Cloud Engineer

As a Cloud Engineer, you will provide service insight, response, and delivery. Maintaining high service reliability and availability with low touch through extensible services and platforms, standardised processes, data insights, and product feedback.

This role plays a crucial position within a team to build a transparent approach to engineering cloud solutions

What You Will Be Doing – Cloud Engineer

As a Cloud Engineer you will play a key role managing CICD pipeline processes; configure, build and release deployments. Working across multiple platforms and technologies to design and implement scalable cost‑effective solutions.

Administering Azure Services : Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Key Vault, ExpressRoute, Virtual Networks, Kubernetes and Application Gateways

Duties Include
  • Produce quality presentation documents
  • Communicate clear concise information, both written and verbal to internal and external clients
  • Manage multiple assignments and tasks, allocating time and resources efficiently
  • Effectively prioritise work and meet deadlines
  • Obtain information to understand internal and external customers needs to meet their expectations and requirements
  • Work with a team to build effective working relationships to accomplish team goals and objectives
  • Respond to requests for information, emails and returns telephone calls promptly and professionally
About You – Cloud Engineer
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience within Azure Cloud working in a DevOps aware environment
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high‑pressure environment to drive results.
  • Strong analytical / problem solving experienced to deal with complex business problems and suggest solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and multi‑task to meet critical deliverable dates.
  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with technical, business and executive staff (proposals, business communication, marketing writing).
  • Excellent organisational, analytical, project management and client relation skills are essential.
  • Must be a detail oriented, analytical and an independent thinker. Must strive for results.
  • Excellent customer service skills, including highly developed communication skills in all forms.
  • Demonstrable problem solving and analytical skills
  • Proficient with Azure Security Center and Azure Monitor : Network, Application, Infrastructure
