Job summary

Undisclosed hedge fund is hiring a cloud engineer to join their lean team to migrate from private cloud to AWS, building, automating, and supporting the future cloud platform.

You will partner with Technology and Quant teams to deliver scalable cloud solutions, focusing on security, high availability, and performance.

Requirements: 3+ years in Cloud/DevOps, hands-on AWS, CI/CD, automation, and cloud migration experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a Cloud, DevOps, Platform, or Infrastructure Engineering role.
• Hands-on AWS experience and a strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD and automation.
• Experience delivering or supporting cloud migration projects from private cloud or on-prem environments.
• Strong academic background: buy-side experience is preferred but not essential.

We are working with a macro fixed income hedge fund that are looking to hire a cloud engineer to join their growing team. In this role, the focus is to support and deliver the firm's migration from private cloud infrastructure to AWS, working to ensure a smooth and secure transition of business-critical systems. You'll work closely with engineering and quant teams to build, automate, and support the firm's future cloud platform. The immediate team tasked with the outlined migration is very lean. Therefore, they need a hands-on individual who is proactive, experienced across the full cloud ecosystem and willing to wear many hats in the process.
