Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) ProServe is seeking a Delivery Consultant (DevOps) to design, implement and manage AWS solutions for customers. This role requires frequent travel to UK client locations and adds value through security-conscious architecture and best practices across project lifecycles.

You will collaborate with customer teams to gather requirements, assess infrastructure, and propose migration strategies to AWS, while guiding teams on industry trends and innovative cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience as a technical specialist in design and architecture.
• Experience in software development with an object-oriented language.
• Experience in consulting, design and implementation of serverless distributed solutions.

Responsibilities

• Solutions — define and deliver on-site technical engagements with partners and customers, including security/compliance requirements.
• Expertise — operate within enterprise security programs and develop security models in AWS cloud (IAM, logging, monitoring, etc.).
• Delivery — on-site delivery of projects showcasing AWS services and security tech; assist migrations or development of new applications on AWS.
• Insights — collaborate with AWS teams to feed back customer/partner input to roadmaps.
• Practice Development — create tools, services, and artefacts to help others build on your work.
