Job summary

Arcus is hiring a Data Engineer to join our Software Development team. You’ll design, develop and maintain cloud-native data solutions that ensure data is accurate, accessible and trusted. You’ll build scalable pipelines, optimize data workflows with AWS Glue, Athena, Redshift and contribute to lakehouse initiatives.

Working primarily remotely with monthly visits to the Redditch office, you’ll collaborate in an Agile environment with stakeholders across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience designing data pipelines and lakehouse platforms.
• Strong SQL and data modelling skills.
• Hands-on cloud data engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines in Python and PySpark.
• Build data workflows using AWS Glue, Athena, Redshift, and related services.
• Support lakehouse architectures and ensure data reliability.
