We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cloud Consultant to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions that meet our clients strategic and operational goals. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide expert guidance on cloud adoption, migration, optimization, and governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate client infrastructure and develop cloud migration strategies.
• Design scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures using platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Implement cloud solutions including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate and optimize cloud workloads.
• Conduct cost-benefit analysis for cloud solutions and provide budget estimates.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, best practices, and governance policies.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to clients and internal teams.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud environments and resolve issues proactively.
• Create and maintain documentation for architecture, deployments, and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a cloud consulting or cloud engineering role.
• Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect are preferred.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong knowledge of virtualization, networking, and security in cloud environments.
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools (CI / CD, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments.
• Knowledge of cloud cost optimization tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Stackdriver).
