Job summary

Centrica Energy is seeking a Cloud Architect & DevOps Lead to shape and strengthen cloud delivery across AWS and Azure. You will design scalable, cost-aware infrastructure, and lead DevOps practices while mentoring engineers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Significant cloud architecture and DevOps experience, ideally in trading, banking, or finance.
• Proven leadership within DevOps or cloud infrastructure roles.
• Deep expertise across AWS and Azure with relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable, secure multi-cloud solutions using AWS and Azure.
• Implement advanced CI/CD pipelines with multiple tools and automations.
• Create and manage IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation and Ansible.
• Establish monitoring and incident processes with CloudWatch and Azure Monitor.
• Lead DevOps practices, mentor engineers, align with business goals, and collaborate cross-functionally.
