Job description

We are the leading Asian-inspired quick‑service retail and grocery brand with over 80 restaurants across the UK, Belgium, and a growing wholesale business across Europe and beyond. Our renowned delicious food made fresh in every restaurant, every day, has made itsu a top choice for healthy eating.

In addition to our restaurants, itsu grocery offers a range of high‑quality Asian-inspired foods available online and in supermarkets. We are excited to be one of the leading brands in this specific group and have ambitious plans for continued growth both domestically and globally.

The role of the Cloud Analyst is to support itsu’s cloud transformation journey as we move away from legacy infrastructure and towards modern, cloud‑native platforms. Reporting to the Enterprise Applications Manager, this role contributes to the delivery of the group-wide IT strategy – helping to implement, support, and maintain cloud services and tools across the business in line with itsu’s cloud-first ambitions.

With a broad remit that spans day-to-day cloud operations, access management, and support for our evolving toolset (including Intune, SharePoint, Azure Blob Storage, and custom Azure-hosted systems), this role will contribute to maintaining stability and performance while supporting cloud-first innovation across all areas of the itsu business.

Skill and Responsibility Overview
  • Cloud support and optimisation: Assist in the upkeep, monitoring, and optimisation of a wide range of Azure cloud services including storage, collaboration, identity, and bespoke applications.
  • Security and compliance: Help maintain access permissions, support policy implementation (e.g. Intune), and ensure cloud-based services adhere to technical and security standards.
  • Infrastructure monitoring: Support monitoring of both cloud and remaining legacy infrastructure, contributing to performance checks, availability tracking, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaboration and delivery: Work closely with the Security and Cloud Lead, the wider IT team, and third-party providers to deliver projects and support the ongoing evolution of our technology landscape.
  • Documentation and support: Maintain clear and accurate technical documentation and provide hands‑on assistance to internal teams for cloud-related services and change activities.
Qualifications and Desired Skills
  • Some hands‑on experience or a strong interest in working with Microsoft Azure, Office 365, and associated administrative tools.
  • Awareness or working knowledge of access management, device management tools (such as Intune), and cloud governance principles.
  • Interest in or exposure to cloud-based file sharing and collaboration tools such as SharePoint and Azure Blob Storage.
  • A logical thinker with strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn through hands‑on experience.
  • Basic knowledge of bespoke business systems or databases hosted in the cloud is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Windows and/or Mac systems and cloud-connected devices.
  • A team player who communicates clearly and works well with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience or interest in the retail, hospitality, or QSR (quick‑service restaurant) sector would be beneficial.
  • A proactive, self‑motivated individual with a passion for technology and customer service.
  • Eager to grow and develop a career in cloud infrastructure and IT operation.
  • Customer focused/obsessed.
