Clinical Vascular Scientist

An exciting and rare opportunity for a Clinical Vascular Scientist (CVS) to join our friendly NHS team in Manchester to perform a full range of vascular scans.

You will work closely with a welcoming team of Vascular Scientists, Physiologists, and an Out‑patient Coordinator, and will collaborate with Vascular Surgeons, Radiologists, Nurse Specialists, and teams across Stroke, Cardiac, Rheumatology, Ophthalmology, Haematology, Nephrology, and Transplant.

Our facilities provide an ideal environment to enhance your skills while delivering comprehensive vascular diagnostic and surveillance services to adults, women, children, and eye hospitals, plus outreach clinics at Trafford.

Main duties of the job

The ideal applicant will have graduated from the Scientific Training Programme or hold accreditation to the CSVS. Consideration will also be given to candidates approaching accreditation or graduation.

You will enjoy engaging with patients, their families, and colleagues, and you will be dedicated to delivering a high standard of care through a full range of vascular scans.
