Job summary

University of Oxford is hiring a Clinical Trials Assistant for the Oxford Respiratory Trials Unit (ORTU). The role supports the trial management team in setting up and managing recruiting sites for two trials, acting as the first contact for sites and ensuring smooth operations across trials.

The successful candidate will have strong communication, organisation, and numerical skills, with experience in clinical or academic environments and knowledge of GCP preferred.

Qualifications

• Good level of education and numerical skills (A-level standard or equivalent).
• Excellent communication and organisation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work as a team member but also independently.
• Previous experience in a similar clinical/academic role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support trial management in setting up and managing recruiting sites for two trials.
• Be the first point of contact for all sites, assisting with site set-ups, greenlighting, and ongoing oversight of recruiting sites.
