The Associate, Clinical Trial Assistant contributes to process improvement and mentoring of other CTAs, and collaborates with Finance, Procurement and study teams to support routine clinical operations.

Qualifications

• 2 years of undergraduate degree level study completed at the start of the placement year (June 2027) in a Life Sciences degree (e.g. Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Nursing, Pharmacy).
• The industrial placement year is part of your overall undergraduate degree course.
• A minimum of 2:1 achieved in first year of study.
• Good Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) skills.
• Passionate and enthusiastic for working in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Motivated to develop and learn.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral forms.
• Analytical, with good problem-solving skills.
• Flexible and adaptable team player, who actively contributes to the team.
• Actively seeks feedback, appreciates and uses to learn.
• Takes initiative, can prioritise and manage own workload autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Local Trial Manager and/or Site Manager to ensure optimal management of all documents and tasks related to trial start-up, execution and closing.
• Ensures trial activities comply with GCO SOPs, policies and local regulatory requirements.
• Contributes to process improvement, training and mentoring of other CTAs.
• Contributes to central business supports and process optimization with other functions.
• Collaborates with Business Operations, CTA team and study teams to support routine clinical operations.
