Job summary

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team on Ward D1. D1 is a 25 bedded ward specialising in the care of patients with gastroenterology conditions. The ward is very busy, so a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care is required. You must be able to provide high quality, compassionate care, ensuring an efficient service is delivered.

Main duties

Deliver fundamental care to patients including assisting with personal hygiene, toileting, feeding and mobility. Work closely with the nursing team, providing teamwork, commitment to high standards, and a willingness to learn and develop. Play part of the team approach to avoiding risk and providing the highest quality care.

Qualifications

Enthusiastic and motivated, caring nature, good communication skills, willingness to learn and develop. Experience in a healthcare or similar setting is desirable.
