Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Lancaster is seeking Band 3 Clinical Support Workers to provide high-quality, patient-focused care within the Main Outpatient Department. The positions require excellent communication and customer care skills. Candidates should have an NVQ 2/3 in Health & Social Care and preferably experience in an outpatient or clinical setting. This role offers 32 hours and 24 hours per week positions.

Qualifications

• Desirable: NVQ 2/3 in Health & Social Care.
• Previous experience in an outpatient or clinical setting is an advantage.

Overview

An exciting opportunity for 2 Band 3 Clinical Support Worker posts to work within our team in the Main Outpatient Department at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary, University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust. 32hrs per week and 24hrs per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, compassionate, patient focused care within the Main Outpatient Department.
• Support clinical service delivery within the department, working flexibly under supervision.
• Work both independently and as part of the wider team, demonstrating excellent communication, IT and customer care skills.

Qualifications

• Desirable: NVQ 2/3 in Health & Social Care.
• Previous experience in an outpatient or clinical setting is an advantage.

Locations & Working Hours

• Main Outpatient Department – Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI).
• Other sites include Furness General Hospital (FGH) in Barrow, Westmorland General Hospital (WGH) in Kendal, Millom Hospital, GP Practice Queen Victoria Hospital in Morecambe, Ulverston Community Health Centre.
• 32hrs per week and 24hrs per week.
