Clinical Support Worker (CSW) – Benson & Egerton Trauma Unit

Benson & Egerton Trauma Unit is a busy 62‑bedded Trauma & Orthopaedic Ward that undertakes emergency admissions. We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic Clinical Support Workers to join our supportive team that is committed to providing a high standard of care.

Role Overview

The CSW is a member of the care team who will support colleagues in the delivery of patient care. The position offers the opportunity to develop your skills and work closely with a registered practitioner and staff nurse under their supervision.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of broad patient care activities under the direct supervision of a registered practitioner.
• Collaborate with staff nurses and other team members to ensure safe and effective patient care.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with ward policies.
• Participate in continuous professional development and adhere to the unit’s clinical standards.
