Job summary

South West Yorkshire Partnership Teaching NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Support Worker for our Forensic Mental Health inpatient ward in Wakefield. This full-time role (37.5 hours) involves supporting adults through a difficult time, listening, being present and helping them feel safe and respected in their recovery.

You will work alongside nurses, doctors, occupational therapists and social workers; induction and full mandatory training are provided.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at minimum.
• Level 2 qualification with progression to Level 3.
• Care Certificate or achieved within 12 weeks.
• Experience in personal care and health/social needs.
• Experience in a caring environment at band 2 level or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to service users.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team including nurses, doctors and therapists.
• Support service users to feel safe, respected and supported in recovery.
