A healthcare organization in the UK is seeking Clinical Support Workers to join their Critical Care team. You will support a dynamic environment caring for patients in the ICU and HDU, perform clinical procedures, and work closely with Registered Nurses. We are keen to attract Clinical Support Workers who are looking for new challenges and opportunities. In Critical Care, support workers are often referred to as Critical Care Technicians. Our unit is a dynamic and busy environment, receiving patients from the Emergency Department, wards, and surgical theatres. You will have the opportunity to care for a diverse group of patients across the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), High Dependency Unit (HDU), and Level 1 Enhanced Care Unit. Your role will involve supporting the clinical team, maintaining the environment of the unit, and contributing fully as a member of the Critical Care team. You will help ensure the smooth running of the ICU, HDU, and Level 1 unit.

The Clinical Support Worker (Band 3) is a member of the care team who provides nursing care and interventions to a delegated patient caseload, assisting the Registered Nurse/Practitioners to deliver high quality and effective care. We are looking for experienced Clinical Support Workers. While hospital experience is desirable, it is not essential. Applicants should hold a minimum of GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or equivalent (Functional Skills), along with a Care Certificate and/or NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualifications.
