A regional healthcare provider is seeking a motivated Clinical Support worker for a full-time position at Brampton Community Hospital. This role involves supporting patients and working with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure high-quality care. Candidates must have GCSEs in English and Maths and be willing to complete a National Care certificate. The salary ranges from £24,937 to £26,598 per annum pro rata.

Clinical Support worker - 36 hours per week available
An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Band 3 Clinical Support worker to work at Brampton Community Hospital. This is a permanent, full‑time position.
Brampton ward aims to address the challenges of an ageing population and increasing demand on health and care services by providing more patient‑centred hospital care and empowering people to take control of their health and wellbeing. This will require new ways of working to focus on preventing ill health and ensuring services are sustainable for the future.
This role requires you to demonstrate the skills and knowledge to support the provision of high quality care, to support patients with complex needs within the community ward setting.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their clinical skills and expertise in caring for patients, working closely with health and social care colleagues to promote independence, facilitate hospital discharge which can be complex and promote independence through reablement and management of long‑term conditions.
The shifts are predominantly 12‑hour covering days, nights, weekends and bank holidays. Rota is completed based on service need and may change to support this.
As a Clinical Support worker in a multi‑disciplinary team, you will work with other health and social care professionals to develop the ethos of multi‑disciplinary, integrated care and a seamless service ensuring that patient care is delivered to the highest possible standard. You will work under the direction of a registered nurse, undertaking a range of delegated patient nursing and care duties including clinical observations and recording patient information. This will include supporting patients with personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
You will, on many occasions, work without direct supervision, assessing patients, implementing care within the hospital setting, providing advice and education to patients, carers and colleagues and maintaining associated patient records. You will carry out nursing procedures and maintain flexible working to meet the needs of the patient group.
