Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Birmingham is seeking a Clinical Support Worker for their Complex Care Team. This permanent position involves delivering quality care to children requiring complex nursing support at home, including personal care, medication administration, and tracheostomy care. Candidates should be motivated and willing to manage rotational shifts, including nights and weekends. Experience in pediatric care is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Ability to deliver personal care to children and young people.
  • Experience in providing complex nursing care, including tracheostomy and suctioning.
  • Understanding of fluid and nutrition management via gastrostomies.

We are looking for a motivated team player who would be able to work in a community environment covering rotational day, night and also weekend, Bank Holiday shifts. We look after children across the Birmingham and surrounding areas including Stourbridge, Dudley and Walsall and you would be expected to be able to travel to these locations and will need to be mobile for travel to meet the requirements of this post. Shifts can start as early as 7am and nights as late as 10pm so please be aware of this when applying as public transport is not always feasible for some of the shifts.

Your role will involve delivering:

  • suctioning
  • catheterisation
