Job summary

The Harley Street Clinic is seeking a Clinical Specialist Radiographer – CT to join our Imaging team across The Princess Grace Hospital and The Harley Street Clinic in London. You will deliver a high-quality CT service, contribute to protocol development and support a busy, multidisciplinary imaging environment.

You will work closely with Radiologists, participate in on-call CT duties, and play a key role in maintaining clinical standards and patient care excellence within a private healthcare

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as Radiographer.
• Extensive post-graduate CT experience, ideally UK.
• Strong understanding of CT governance, radiation safety and protocol development.
• Competent in IV cannulation.
• Experience performing a wide range of CT examinations, including contrast-enhanced studies.
• The confidence to work at specialist level within a complex clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, effective and high-quality CT service.
• Work with Radiologists to develop and review imaging protocols and patient pathways.
• Support day-to-day running of the CT service and drive service improvements.
• Contribute to patient scheduling and reporting processes.
• Support orientation and development of colleagues, sharing expertise.

Job description

Role: Clinical Specialist Radiographer – CT

Location: The Harley Street Clinic & The Princess Grace Hospital, Central London

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week between Monday-Friday

Shift times: The service runs from 08:00am to 8:00pm and we can consider three, four or five day shift patterns. Plus, overnight on-calls.

Contract type: Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Specialist CT Radiographer to join our Imaging team across The Princess Grace Hospital and The Harley Street Clinic, currently rated "Outstanding" by the CQC. These prestigious sites are known for complex care, clinical depth and close multidisciplinary working. From advanced oncology imaging to specialist cardiac and acute diagnostics, colleagues here support some of the most intricate patient pathways in private healthcare, delivering care with consistency, compassion and clinical confidence.

As a Clinical Specialist Radiographer in CT, you'll be part of a highly experienced team working across both The Princess Grace Hospital and The Harley Street Clinic campuses, providing flexibility and exposure to a diverse range of patient pathways, clinical specialties and imaging services. The department is equipped with two Siemens CT scanners and two GE CT scanners, supporting a broad and challenging caseload across a wide range of routine, specialist and complex CT examinations.

Day to day, you'll combine expert clinical practice with leadership influence, supporting service delivery, shaping protocols and contributing to a five-star patient experience. This role also includes participation in the overnight CT on-call rota, with time off provided the following day in line with departmental working arrangements.

What You’ll Do

• Provide a safe, effective and high‑quality MRI service, maintaining excellent clinical standards at all times
• Work closely with Radiologists and Consultants to develop and review imaging protocols and patient pathways
• Support the day‑to‑day running of the MRI service, identifying and implementing service improvements with the line manager
• Contribute to patient scheduling and administrative processes to ensure timely, accurate reporting
• Support the orientation and development of colleagues, sharing specialist knowledge and expertise

What You’ll Bring

• HCPC registration as a Radiographer.
• Extensive post-graduate CT experience, ideally gained within the UK.
• Strong understanding of CT clinical governance, radiation safety and protocol development.
• Competent in IV cannulation.
