A community healthcare provider is seeking a Band 7 Physiotherapist to join the Community Paediatric Therapies Service. The role involves providing specialist physiotherapy assessment and treatment to children aged 0 to 19 with various conditions. The post holder will work in community settings, lead service improvements, and conduct clinical supervision. Candidates must exhibit advanced skills in paediatric physiotherapy with substantial post-graduate experience. The position offers a part-time contract in Middlesbrough, with a salary ranging from £47,810 to £54,710 per annum.
There is an exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Physiotherapist to join the Community Paediatric Therapies Service. The post holder will provide specialist Physiotherapy assessment and treatment to children aged 0‑19 years in a wide range of settings within the community.
To provide assessment and interventions to children/young people aged 0‑19 years with a variety of conditions, including complex needs who are resident within the South Tees region. The specialist physiotherapy assessment and intervention will take place in the most appropriate community location to best meet the needs of the individual child/young person and their family. Access to independent travel is essential. Clinical supervision and line management duties of other staff members within the team is an important duty of this role. Appropriate additional duties will be delegated to the successful candidate by the Service Lead including representation of the wider Paediatric Therapies Service in external/Trust wide meetings. Leading on service improvement and development projects. Significant postgraduate experience working within Paediatric Physiotherapy and enthusiasm for working with a wide range of children/young people up to the age of 19 is essential.
