A leading healthcare provider in the United Kingdom is seeking a Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist for a permanent, part-time role. You will oversee the Occupational Therapy service, focusing on inpatient surgery and oncology, providing expert assessment and intervention. Role: Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist (Inpatient Surgery and Oncology/Haematology). As an experienced Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for clinically overseeing the Occupational Therapy service at both locations and lead development of the service. You will demonstrate expertise in optimising the function of Oncology and Surgical patients and support their safe discharge. You will daily work alongside a team of acute physiotherapists and MDT colleagues including dietitians, SLTs, doctors and nurses as you provide expert Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention, educate staff and promote this service.
