MORRELLO HEALTH LIMITED is seeking a Specialist Neuro Physiotherapist for a part-time hybrid role based in Newport, Wales. You will deliver neuro physiotherapy to adults and children in clinics and community settings, building personalised care plans.

You will undertake holistic neurological assessments, use evidence-based practice, and apply advanced hands-on techniques with rehabilitation technologies such as PD Warrior, FES, and robotic rehab.

Formación

• Masters level qualification in Physiotherapy with research experience.
• HCPC registration in good standing.
• Active ACPIN member.
• Experience in neuro physiotherapy for adults and paediatric patients.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of PD Warrior, FES, and robotic rehabilitation technologies.

Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid position for a Specialist Neuro Physiotherapist, based in Newport, Wales, with the flexibility to work remotely when appropriate.

The role involves:

• Delivering specialist physiotherapy to adults and children with neurological conditions in our specialist clinics and in a community setting.
• Undertake holistic assessment of patients with neurological conditions (including those with complex presentations and cognitive problems) making use of specialist clinical reasoning skills and evidence-based practice.
• Use evidence-based practice, to ensure clinical care is effective and appropriate.
• Design and undertake treatment sessions using advanced hands-on treatment skills as well as incorporating state of the art rehabilitation technology appropriately

You will contribute to patient care planning, monitor progress, and provide professional guidance to other team members. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest quality of patient-centered care is an integral part of this role. Teaching others will also be a significant part of this role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Neuro Physiotherapy, including assessment, treatment planning, and rehabilitation techniques
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction and teamwork
• Experience working with adult and paediatric neurological conditions and have a deeper understanding of their complexities
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Relevant professional qualifications and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
• Active member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists In Neurology (ACPIN)
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
• Qualification to Masters level with research experience is essential
• Previous clinical experience with: PD Warrior, FES, Intensive (Robotic) Rehabilitation of patients with SCI, Stroke, MS, CP, FND as well as experience with other technology in a similar role is advantageous
