A leading healthcare institution in Coventry is seeking a Clinical Sister/Charge Nurse for its Paediatric Ward. This role involves providing clinical leadership, managing patient care, and ensuring high standards are upheld. Candidates should have a nursing qualification, experience in Paediatrics, and excellent communication skills. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary range from £38,682 to £46,580 per annum pro rata.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Paediatric Sister/ Charge Nurse on our Childrens Ward here at UHCW.
Ward 16 comprises of 24 beds caring for Children and Young People with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions. The area specialises in Oncology care for Children and Young People of all ages.
The Successful Candidate is required to have excellent communication skills and must be able to provide clinical leadership and support. It is expected that you will continually aim for high standards of care and support the management team. In turn, you will be supported to meet your career goals and aspirations and development within you role.
Interview Date will be 9th December
Successful applicants will be required to provide an immunisation and vaccination report, from either their current UK occupational health provider or their UK GP.
A shift/team leader, providing clinical leadership and management support, developing and evaluating best practice within the department. The post-holder will deputise for the department manager as required.
Ward 16 is a 24 bedded unit caring for Children and Young people predominantly between the ages of 2-12. The ward specialises in Oncology care for children of all ages being a shared care centre with BCH.
The successful applicant will after training be expected to hold the Paediatric bleep supporting the unit, attending medical emergencies as well as supporting with Bed Management responsibilities.
