A leading health service provider is looking for a Clinical Shift Lead in Hull. This role involves providing senior clinical oversight for crisis intervention services, leading a team, managing risk, and ensuring safe care for individuals experiencing mental health distress. Candidates should hold a Masters Level qualification and have experience in mental health settings. This full-time position involves working varied shifts, including nights and weekends.

The Mental Health Crisis Intervention Team (MHCIT) is a service for adults aged 18-64 and their families and carers living in Hull and East Riding who are experiencing an acute mental health crisis.
As a Band 7 Clinical Shift Lead within the MHCIT, you'll provide senior clinical oversight and leadership across the 24/7 service. You'll coordinate shift activity, support clinical decision-making, and ensure safe, effective care for individuals in acute mental health distress.
This role is pivotal in maintaining high standards of care, managing risk, and supporting both registered and unregistered staff during complex presentations. You'll work closely with emergency services, community teams, and partner agencies to deliver responsive, person-centred interventions.

We are a 24/7, 7 day service therefore the successful candidate will be expected to work a shift pattern including long days, weekends and nights.
