The role

Responsibilities
  • Provide a full administrative and secretarial service to a multi disciplinary team including the management of information systems and the co-ordination of the clinical referral system.
Qualifications
  • RSA3/SVQ3/NC in Secretarial Studies or equivalent.
  • Proficient IT Skills which include a working knowledge of Microsoft office packages.
  • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to prioritise and work on own initiative.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Minimum requirement of two years secretarial experience in an equivalent position.
Desirable additional skills
  • Possess or be working towards ECDL or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in health care/social care setting.
  • Experience of handling sensitive information.
  • Proficient in audio typing.
Contract, hours and location

Contract type: Permanent

Full time: 37 hours

Location: Based in Mental Health/Community within Hunter Health Centre.

Working pattern: TBC.
