Clinical Services Manager (RMN)

Salary – Up to £45,000 per annum

Location – Reading, Berkshire

Hours – Permanent – Full Time hours

Shift Pattern – This role is mainly from Monday to Friday 0900 – occasional weekend and / or night working may be required to provide supervision to the night staff you will be expected to participate in the on‑call rota for the service.

Summary

Appoint Healthcare are proud to partner with an extremely reputable leading national provider of health and social care services for young people and adults with mental health needs. We are looking for an experienced Senior Nurse looking for the next step in their career, or an existing Clinical Services Manager looking for a new opportunity, this will be to work in a specialist service, providing support for people with severe and enduring mental health conditions. You will be working at a modern and purpose‑built home with 13 en‑suite bedrooms.

Theservicein Reading is a complex rehabilitation service for men and women with a primary diagnosis of mental illness. The team will provide support for individuals with schizophrenia including treatment resistant, schizoaffective disorder, depression, anxiety. They may also have a secondary diagnosis including alcohol, drug and substance misuse, behavioural disorders such as compulsive obsessive disorder (OCD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), bipolar, panic disorder and Autism.

Requirements
  • A relevant nursing qualification (RMN)
  • A valid NMC registration with no restrictions or referrals
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • At least 2 years of managerial experienced within a care setting
  • A minimum of 2 years of eating disorders experience as a nurse, in the UK
  • Strong team‑working skills
  • Highly organised and perform well under pressure
Duties
  • Manage and develop a highly skilled and motivated workforce through recruitment, selection, development and performance management processes.
  • Ensure the effective and efficient management and control of staffing, budgets, materials and equipment.
  • Promote an effective working relationship across the multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ensure clinical services comply with statutory regulations and current legislation, meet quality standards and deliver against key performance indicators.
  • Managing the effective implementation of clinical interventions and treatment designed to enhance the operation and quality of clinical services evaluating through clinical governance and audit.
  • The actual rate of pay will be within these advertised bandings and will be dependent on your ability to demonstrate your competence during the interview.
