We are looking for applicants to join the Vaccinology Group at the Centre for Neonatal and Paediatric Infection. The post holder will be responsible for driving research into vaccine-preventable diseases in a global health context and training academic clinicians in training. We would like to hear from highly competent candidates with a strong international track record of research in maternal and neonatal vaccination clinical trials and immunology.

Qualifications and Experience

• PhD in vaccinology or other relevant discipline.
• UK-registerable basic medical qualification.
• CCT in paediatrics with sub-specialty interest or specialist training in paediatric infection and immunology with full registration with the General Medical Council.
• A proven track record of high-quality research, a clear and ambitious plan for future research, and the ability to secure external research funding.
• Ability to develop and deliver research-led teaching and assessment and successfully supervise PhD students.
• Clinical experience is essential with demonstrable, significant and ongoing experience in Paediatric Infectious Diseases and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
