A major NHS organization is seeking a Clinical Scientist in Genomics to provide high-quality diagnostic services in Haemato-Oncology. The ideal candidate will possess a BSc and preferably a PhD in Biological Science, with expertise in clinical genetics. This permanent, full-time role offers opportunities for training leading to HCPC registration. Interested candidates should have excellent analytical and communication skills.

We are seeking enthusiastic and highly motivated state registered Clinical Scientists to join our Genomics laboratory (Cancer or Haemato-Oncology Teams), working to deliver a modern high quality diagnostic service and cutting edge translational development.
We are happy to consider appointment of individuals who are not yet HCPC Registered but are currently on a recognised programme of training that will lead to registration in the near future. We will also consider exceptional candidates with relevant genomics experience wishing to undertake a programme of training with us leading to HCPC registration. Appointment in either of these circumstances would be at AFC band 6 until registration.

Please note that this is a full-time permanent position. Staff will be expected to participate in a 6 day working rota to cover Saturdays and some Bank Holidays with time off in lieu.
