You will join us at an exciting time as we extend our Audiology service into the newly built, on-site, Community Diagnostic Centre where we will provide adult, paediatric and tinnitus assessment pathways. We are also involved with the planning of our new hospital due to open in 2031/32. Although based in the Audiology department, your role will be to ensure the day-to-day delivery of the Audiology service in the Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) including the supervision of junior staff and undertaking the diagnostic assessment of patients referred on Paediatric, Adult and Tinnitus pathways. The post may also include undertaking audio-vestibular assessments and rehabilitation on all patient groups at the main Audiology site.

You will lead and be actively engaged in the UKAS IQIPS accreditation process for the CDC and main Audiology department. You will also take part in the quality assurance, audit and peer review of the service.
