Job summary

The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Oxford invites applications for a Clinical Research Fellow based at the Warneford Hospital in Oxford. The role focuses on cutting-edge research at the intersection of clinical psychiatry and artificial intelligence to improve access to early intervention services and transform preventive mental health care.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) with full GMC registration.
• Experience working with individuals with clinical populations in mental health settings.
• Desirable: experience in early intervention or CHR-P services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structured, semi-structured CHR-P clinical interviews.
• Oversee and ensure safety during AI-assisted (ARIADNE-led) interviews.
• Produce high-quality clinical summary reports following assessments.

About the Role

The post is funded for a year and is based in the Department of Psychiatry at the Warneford Hospital.

You will conduct structured, semi-structured CHR-P clinical interviews.

You will oversee and ensure safety during AI-assisted (ARIADNE-led) interviews.

You will produce high-quality clinical summary reports following assessments.

About You

You will have a medical degree (MBBS MD or equivalent) with full GMC registration and strong knowledge of Good Clinical Practice.

You will have demonstrable experience working with individuals with clinical populations in mental health settings.

You will have excellent communication skills Demonstrable experience working with individuals with clinical populations in mental health settings. Experience working in early intervention or CHR-P services would be desirable.
