Job summary

Oxford Cancer at Churchill Hospital coordinates translational cancer research training programmes, including internships and clinical postdoctoral training. The role supports outcomes monitoring and post-graduation engagement to maximise impact of Oxford research.

Based at Churchill Hospital, the role runs full time on a fixed-term basis until 31 December 2027, with an early start date and potential 0.8 FTE for part-time applicants across four days.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating administrative processes for training programmes in an academic environment.
• Experience in medical or life sciences research/training organisations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with academics, clinicians and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver key elements of Oxford Cancer training programmes (internships, clinical postdoctoral training, outcomes monitoring, post-graduation engagement).
• Assist in delivery of Oxford Cancer Training Strategy and support translational cancer researchers.
• Work with Senior Programmes Manager and Training Programme Project Coordinator to manage deadlines and workload.
