Job summary

Wrightington, Wigan & Leigh NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Band 5 Clinical Research Practitioner to join the Research Delivery Team. The post involves recruitment of diverse patient cohorts, study setup, data collection, and collaboration with Research Nurses and clinicians across WWL sites.

The role requires transferable clinical skills, adherence to ICH-GCP, and willingness to travel to different Trust sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Accredited Band 5 Clinical Research Practitioner role.
• Experience in supporting recruitment of diverse patient cohorts.
• Ability to collect data and conduct basic research procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with study set-up, approvals, and patient recruitment.
• Conduct data collection with participants (questionnaires, interviews).
• Record and report adverse events in line with protocol and SOPs.
• Coordinate with investigators, researchers and Trust staff across sites.
• Travel to Trust sites as required for study activity.
