Job summary

Pulse is seeking a qualified Clinical Research Nurse (Band 5/6) in Hull. You will be responsible for participant visits, data entry into CRFs/eCRFs, and ensuring safety checks align with protocols. NMC PIN is required, with at least three years of clinical research experience.

You will collaborate with MDTs, support recruitment, and manage documentation in a fast-paced trial environment. This role offers essential patient-facing responsibilities within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• NMC PIN valid and current.
• Minimum 3 years in clinical research.
• NMC-registered nurse with clinical research experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out participant visits, observations, interventions and safety checks in line with study protocols and SOPs.
• Complete pre-screen assessments to support strong patient recruitment.
• Build positive relationships that encourage participant engagement and retention.
• Record, verify and enter study data accurately into source notes and CRFs/eCRFs.
• Respond to data queries promptly.
• Maintain a professional, supportive environment for participants and colleagues.
• Participate in MDT meetings.
• Act confidently in emergencies (e.g., cardiac arrest, anaphylaxis, critical incidents).
