Job summary

A regional health services provider is looking for a Research Assistant in Liverpool. This role will involve supporting the Breast Research team through tasks such as venepuncture and data entry. Qualifications

• GCSE standard/NVQ3 in relevant subject or equivalent.
• Experience of working in a Health Care setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and hospital information systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform venepuncture and blood processing.
• Recruit patients for clinical studies.
• Collect and enter patient data accurately.

Good communication skills – written and verbal

Ability to organise and prioritise own workload

Ability to use initiative

Ability to use tact and a sensitive approach to patients and relatives

Education
