Job summary

West London NHS Trust seeks a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join the Mental Health Integrated Network Team (MINT) in Hounslow. You will provide highly specialist assessments and treatments for adults with complex mental health needs, 1-1 and in groups, with a focus on diversity and asylum-seeking populations as needed.

The role emphasises MDT collaboration, supervision and training for trainees and assistants, and advancing psychological thinking across the service.

Qualifications

• Specialist assessments for complex mental health conditions.
• Experience working with diverse populations including asylum seekers.
• Ability to lead and disseminate psychological thinking within teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide highly specialist assessments and treatment for adults with complex mental health conditions, in 1-1 and group settings.
• Offer psychological consultation to the whole MDT and supervision/training for trainees and assistant psychologists.
• Support service development, audit and research to improve care quality.
• Embed psychological principles across the MDT and promote leadership in psychological thinking.
