At Evolve Psychology Services, we empower our clinicians with the tools and support they need to focus on delivering exceptional care to children, young people, and their families. You will join a passionate, multidisciplinary team specialising in high-quality, evidence-based autism and ADHD assessments, through both NHS-funded and private pathways.
This role will be within our Harrogate Team and is a hybrid position, offering part‑time and full‑time options with a minimum of three days a week. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will contribute to comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessments, helping to ensure timely and accurate diagnoses that lead to appropriate support and improved outcomes for families.
Main Duties of the Job
You will support the assessment process by:
- Conducting face‑to‑face structured observations.
- Completing remote developmental history interviews via Zoom.
- Collaborating in peer MDT diagnostic discussions (with senior clinician support where needed).
- Delivering clear, compassionate feedback to families.
- Producing accurate, timely clinical reports with the aid of our AI‑assisted tools.
- Meeting service Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Providing clinical supervision where applicable.
- Contributing to quality checking of reports and service development projects.
- Traveling to the clinic base for in‑person assessments (hybrid only).
Additional duties may include supervision of junior staff, consulting to colleagues in areas of expertise, and contributing to service‑development initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience
- Must hold HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical, Counselling, or Educational).
- Minimum of 1 year experience conducting diagnostic assessments for autism and/or ADHD in children and young people.
- Strong understanding of differential diagnosis in neurodevelopmental presentations.
- In‑depth knowledge of DSM‑5 diagnostic criteria for autism and ADHD.
- Trained and experienced in the use of diagnostic tools such as ADOS‑2, ADI‑R, or equivalent.
- Effective time‑management and caseload organisation skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and participate in collaborative diagnostic discussions.
- Highly developed written language skills for producing high‑quality clinical reports.
- Well‑developed communication skills with children, young people, and their families.
Must be eligible to work in the UK.
